6 Podcasts You Need to Listen

Hey you good looking thing, I guess you loved my last blog so much that you are here to read my next one. Well, in that case, thank you so much. If the topic about podcasts interests you, please read through for some amazing suggestions.

Before I get started let me brief you about podcasts. Podcasts are made by a bunch of nice people who thought that they should share their little pockets of wisdom, comedy and life experiences to the world. They are a series of audio content with soothing voices.

Podcasts have always been my saviour, my companion, my self-help guru and my motivation.  I have been listening to podcasts for a few years now. ‘Twas introduced to me by my Amma and ever since it became a ritual every morning. Thanks to her. She is more modern and techie than me guys. Never underrate mothers, they know everything.

Here are some of the most adored podcasts of mine which are available in the Spotify application. Links are given below.

Number 1 Joel Osteen Podcast

Hands down the best podcast, the one I have been listening to for almost 3 years now. The very first podcast I ever listened to, introduced to me by my Amma. Mother’s choice are always the best guys. It is a Christian podcast which even non-Christians can listen to. Joel Osteen preaches about topics related to knowing your value to blessing your enemies. You can associate your life very much to it and contemplate. He gives you many real life examples from his own life and How God helped him get through situations. Not to forget, this is not the usual sermons you hear at church, boring and sleepy, no offence, it is the reality, atleast what I have heard so far. He always begins his podcast in a humorous way and takes it in a non-monotonous tone. And also his Texas twang is something fascinating to hear. Just go and listen to it today, I can assure you that at the end of the podcast you will feel refreshed and he sure has a way of knocking some sense into us.

Number 2 The Michelle Obama Podcast

Crazy fan alert. For people who know me, you might have recognised by now that I am a big Obama family fan. Her podcast was recently released during the pandemic and man what a voice. It instantly calms my mind and makes me go, Yes mam, I hear you. The podcast starts with her husband, The former president, Mr. Barack Obama to talking with her brother, her mom, her friends, her mentor, mentees, talking about marriage with the famous Conan O’Brien, which was hilarious. Oh and also she talks about issues relating to women. You can learn so much about how to live as a family and how to treat people in your work place and most of all being humble. I just couldn’t pick a favourite episode from it.

Number 3 Yours Positively

To all the people sitting and thinking, who does she think she is, living in India and always talking about Texas and being an Obama fan. FYI, I also listen to a good, no no, very good tamil podcast. As the title suggests, it is full of positivity and little stories narrated in a very pleasing voice by a person named Poonguzhali. I even suggested this podcast to my mum. It is so good you guys. You can understand how much I loved it from the number of times I said “good”.  You will definitely get hooked to the voice and the lil nuggets of values she offers.

Number 4 TED Talks Daily

To all those scholarly, studies only friends of mine, I present to you TED Talks. I know by now you people might have found this podcast, but still I am going to go on raving about this. Till now we have seen podcasts to change our outlook on life, now we shall see it through the eyes of science, technology and what not. This podcast has everything to stimulate your curiosity and helps you get educated on varies streams. My personal favourites include speech by Sir Ken Robinson on education (Fun fact: I listened to it twice because your girl didn’t understand it the first time), Malala Yousafzai, Bill gates and a lot more. So if you are a person who likes to listen to new ideas and think on them, go head and follow TED Talks.

Number 5 Celebrating Life with Mahatria

We as a family are big fans of T.T.Rangarajan. We love reading his magazine Infinithoughts, which is a monthly subscription mag. In this podcast Mr. Rangarajan answers all the questions we have in the back of our minds with a subtle humour and provides a clarity relating to questions about life. For example, He deals with topics as simple as, Why do we pray? Or how to deal with other’s imperfections. The podcast is full of different chunks of such topics which obviously is useful to any human living in this planet.

Number 6 The Daily Mastery podcast by Robin Sharma

Before I started my business, Libby Creatio I read a lot of books which gave me sureness and how to lead. One such author ‘s books I read is Mr. Robin Sharma. Those who travelled with me long time in my life will know this. Coming to his podcast, if you either want to start a business or simply become a super human being you can check his podcast. His talks are concise, crisp and to the point. If you want to grow as a person and stand out in your work place, friend’s circle or wherever it maybe this podcast will definitely help you bring out your uniqueness and good heart you have been keeping to yourself.

Well, you might tell me, Libby, I don’t have so much time in my hands to sit and listen to someone speak. Of course, you don’t that would be boring. What if I say you can listen to a  podcast in your shower. Come on, we have all done that during our college days, listening to music in our bathroom and jamming with our friends. Podcasts work the same way too. Infact it would make you more ready for the day and conquer whatever comes your way in a more positive outlook.

Another way I listen to podcasts is when I cook, yes I do, me and my mother we both listen to Joel Osteen podcast blasting off while we cook our delicious meals.  It is more like a routine these days. I make sure I finish a podcast when I am doing my workouts or running on the treadmill, it makes me focus more on the subject than check the time. Also when you’re getting dressed to leave home, turn on your speaker to some good podcast, you will definitely step out with a happy mind. I for sure is not a morning person, I am usually super cranky during the early hours of the day, so if you are someone like me, just put on your earphones and let the podcast do the talking. You will unquestionably get up with a spring in your step.

Let me know if you happen to listen to any of the podcasts. Ciao for now!
